LAMOTHE Albert 1923-2006 The death occurred at the Timmins & District Hospital after a brave battle with cancer on Sunday March 12th, 2006 of Mr. Albert Lamothe aged 82 years of South Porcupine.
Beloved husband of Bernadette nee Tremblay. Loving father of Jacques Fern of Montreal, Pauline of Timmins, Paul Claire of Chapleau, John Sandra of South Porcupine, Raymond Judy of South Porcupine, Diane Paul Nenonen of Porcupine, Claude Claudette of Porcupine and Ivan Barbara of Thunder Bay.

Cherished grandfather of Chantal, Ginette, Nathalie, Michael, Jessie, Clayton, Rylee, Carrie, Amanda, Justin and great grandfather to 3. Treasured brother of Philippe, Ted, Richard, Victor, Romeo, Beatrice, Rose, Helene, Anne, Martha, Irene and Grace. Albert was predeceased by his parents May ne Church and Aristide Lamothe, and siblings William, Alex, Charles, Henri, Laurent, Paul, Rita and May. He will be sadly missed by numerous neices, nephews, friends and relatives who knew and loved him.

Mr. Lamothe was born in Bonfield, near North Bay and had been a resident of the Porcupine Camp for many years. He had served overseas for his country with the Canadian Infantry Corps with the Irish Regiment of Canada.

Albert was employed by the Dome Mines Ltd. and Kidd Creek before retiring in 1984. He enjoyed cooking, the out of doors, gardening and loved to travel with his wife R.V.ing. His natural wit and good humour was enjoyed by all who knew him. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society made through the funeral home will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

A Funeral Service along with a “Legion Tribute to celebrate his life will held in the funeral home at 12:00 noon on Wednesday March 15th, 2006. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00am till funeral time at the Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Ave., South Porcupine. PH: 705 235-2900.
